CHARLEMAGNE - The legendary king

The Charlemagne Trilogy in one book

•  1250 years of Carolus Rex  •

Einhard’s prudent reply to Charlemagne‘s question about truth in a biography simply was: ‘The truth, my blessed Lord, can be a beautiful or a terrible thing, and therefore must be treated with extreme caution. One man’s truth is another man’s lie.’

Many years later, when Einhard had finally finished Charlemagne’s biography and handed it over to Waldo, he said: ‘Half of writing history is hiding half of the truth. Which half is the big question. And, as my fellow scribe Godsbert once said, “Those who believe the past cannot be changed have not yet written a biography.”’

Waldo - Charlemagne's Priest

A document written in Latin on sheepskin in the early middle ages verifies the donation of a Christian Church by a certain Waldo in Seeburg, a small village in southern Germany.
Charlemagne¹s Christianisation of the barbaric pagans during his reign was brutal enough.
It could have been far worse without Waldo, a more considered Christian, by his side.
Read about the historic, mythical resurrection of Charlemagne¹s life in this fascinating trilogy.

Godsbert - Charlemagne's Scribe

Charlemagne and his childhood friend Waldo, promoted Godsbert to become one of their favourite scribes, not only to copy the Holy Scriptures, but to write a hagiography of their favourite teacher Othmar, who was the first Abbot of St. Gall, a Benedictine monastery in the early Middle Ages.
The pious Othmar lived a life of holy work and miracles, but was doomed to a tragic fate.

Carolus - Charlemagne's Life

Charlemagne was obsessed with how history would judge and portray him. One of his greatest desires was to be counted among the just.
He asked his childhood friend and Imperial Abbot Waldo, to find the scribe who could best set his atrocities, committed against the medieval pagans, in a good light.
   But did he succeed?

PANGAIA - Thriller

Though few would admit it, concealed deep in the hearts of many scientists is the belief that the human soul is not a supernatural spirit but a physical, organic entity hidden within each one of us.
In this profound and disturbing new thriller, two brilliant scientists share that belief - but they have very different ideas of what the mortal soul is made of, and where it resides in the human body. Both are on their own passionate, individual journeys of discovery, which take them into the deepest secret domains of nature - into the very heart of Earth¹s dark matter.
The two scientists are forced to rethink everything they have come to understand about the reality of life, and what it means to be human.
This astonishing quest of danger and discovery exposes a sinister hidden threat to the very survival of the human species. It also reveals the secret existence of the mortal human soul.

PURE SIN - Polemic Tragedy

Can pure love be pure sin?
Father Franz Maschke, a Catholic priest and monk fell in love and sired a child with Karoline, his childhood sweetheart. Now they were in the same deep trouble as the Blessed Virgin Mary was, when she had to explain to her parents that she got pregnant by an angel.
Did the Maschkes manage to save the family¹s Christian honour?

PURE FIRE - Tragedy

The soul is where dreams hide until the heart reveals them.
But does the pure fire of the heart, burn the soul?
Anton Dahede had two great dreams - to escape the life of a woodcutter in the dark forests of Southern Bohemia, and to settle in his beloved homeland with the beautiful woman he loved.
Pure fire shone brightly on one dream, but burned the other to ashes.

PURE ANGST - Tragedy

Can pure angst be overcome?

“In the end, war does not determine who is right – only who is left,” the voice on the radio said.

Hildegard and several of her nursing colleagues who heard it exchanged glances that were equally desolate and distressed.

Each had loved ones away fighting in the war who they constantly prayed would be among those who are left.

The anguish and anxiety was relentless and almost unbearable because in the end they knew survival in war was a horrifying lottery and their prayers would have no bearing on who the winners and losers would be.

-

A gratitude for fate, or a force of the universe, or some deity, or whatever it was that had brought Kurt to this point of survival and resurrection after WWII.

He knew his good luck to be a Prisoner of War with the Britts in Munster Lager was a precious gift, wherever it came from, and he would treasure it for the rest of his life.

YESHUA - Sacred Cantatas

After carrying out their religious duties at the Temple as usual, Mary and Joseph set off to return to Nazareth but soon realised that they left their son behind.
After a long search they found him in one of the Temple courtyards with a group of Rabbi teachers enthusistically asking them intricate questions about the Jewish Law.
Back in Nazareth life returned to normal at the carpenter¹s workshop until one day when Joseph became gravely ill. On his deathbed he instructed Yeshua to  make this world a better place.

Spreading the message of love became his calling.

GODSON Cover.jpg
GODSON - CARPENTER TO FISHERMAN

'When the fullness of time came, God sent forth His son, born of a woman.' so Paul tells us in his letter to the Galatians.

What did God mean by 'son'? Paul doesn't say, exactly. But he does declare that God predestined all of us to adoption as His sons. (And daughters, presumably.)

Adoption by God is not a birthright. Only those who believe in the 10 Commandments will God adopt as His sons and daughters. (Paul was clear on that.)

We become children of God only by the grace of Devine adoption. Without that great and gracious gift from God we are just spawn of the Devil.

When God called Jesus His 'son' did he mean His actual offspring, or an adopted son? A Devine Godson, perhaps? Specially chosen? Or randomly selected, from all the world's sons of God?

But why Jesus of Nazareth and not Jerez of Necochea? Or Jayesh of Nizamabad? Or a million others? God works in mysterious ways ...

For His purpose it makes no difference whether Jesus was his actual son or not. What matters is that we believe it to be true.

Of course, we don't know for certain, either way. What we do know, for a fact, is that Jesus was a good and holy man, who passionately believed in the World of God and devoutly obeyed and preached His 10 Commandments, even when he knew God would sacrifice him on the cross.

A man like that even the Almighty Lord Himself would be proud to call His Godson.

JUMP! Cover.jpg
JUMP!

‘YOU HAVE TO JUMP WITH 35.’ was the headline of a magazine article when I was young, back in Germany, my country of birth.

I climbed the proverbial ladder, first at school, then at University and finally, very fast at my first job in an advertising agency in Frankfurt.

To climb further and even faster I knew I had to be more proficient in English than what school could teach.

The first big jump at age 29 was to move to the other side of the world, Sydney Australia. They speak English with a funny accent but at least there’s sunshine and a beach.

The second big jump came 6 years later, when I decided to try self-employment, a dream to run my own show. It proved more successful than I could have ever imagined.

The third big jump was to retire from advertising at age 55 and start a new venture, authoring 14 books with great success.

The final big jump is hopefully many years in the future, the best and most caring doctors look after me. I hope to die with a smile on my face having achieved more in life than I could have ever dreamed of.

Read all about it and perhaps learn how you could achieve your dream with passion and determination.

SAGACITA - GREEK GODDESS

A secret goddess from Greek mythology inspires a modern age manifesto for world unity.

As a young Greek goddess, Sagacita was fascinated with the Earth below. But even stronger than her fascination was her sense of despair and sadness that Earth was in such chaos and its inhabitants living in misery and turmoil.

‘Why can the mortals not make life better for themselves?’ she constantly asked herself.

Though it was strictly forbidden for her to go to Earth without a good reason, and the permission of Zeus himself, Sagacita decided to go anyway and see if she could answer her burning question.
